Deedra Hughes established Hughes Media in 2000, initially focusing on media buying and advertising. Over the years, her agency has served a diverse range of clients, including national brands like Pulte Homes and Budget Rental Car. Recognizing the evolving market, Deedra expanded Hughes Media’s services after two years to include website development, Google Ads, and search engine optimization.
As a pioneer in internet ad buying, particularly pay-per-click advertising, Deedra transformed Hughes Media into a comprehensive digital agency. Today, she leads a talented team of over 20 digital marketing experts specializing in branding, SEO, SEM, email marketing, website design, and development. Each team member is dedicated to delivering clients’ results, ensuring they always act in the best interest of their clients. Under Deedra’s leadership, the team has successfully managed more than 800 domains and websites globally.
In addition to her role at Hughes Media, Deedra serves as a digital business consultant, advising CEOs and business leaders on branding and online positioning. Her consulting services encompass website traffic analysis, digital touchpoint reviews, and identifying new revenue opportunities, leveraging over a decade of expertise in internet consulting.
Deedra earned her Communications Marketing degree from Ohio University and is certified in both Google Ads and Google Analytics. She has received training in the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) tailored for small to mid-sized businesses. Actively engaged in the industry, she has been a member of Vistage, SEMPO, and the Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association. She serves as the President of the Board of Directors for Cumberland Academy of Georgia.
